We are a non-profit organization providing adaptive clothing free of charge to wounded service men and women at every military hospital in the United States,Germany and Combat Hospitals overseas.
WE NEED YOUR HELP! With approximately forty injured service members returning to the states each week, Sew Much Comfort struggles to find resources to meet these demands. We distribute over 1,200 clothing items each month to our wounded men and women of our Armed Forces who`s only alternative is hospital gowns. By creating custom adaptive clothing, our hope is to make their recovery more comfortable both physically and emotionally. It accommodates their medical devices and situations, provides ease of use, personal independence and minimizes the visual impact of their medical condition.
Our volunteers remain the driving force behind our success. They donate their time, purchase fabric and seek new donations to continue funding our mission. We have individuals and sewing groups all across the United States and Germany/Europe.
WE ALL WANT TO COMMUNICATE TO OUR INJURED SERVICE MEMBERS THAT THEY HAVE NOT BEEN FORGOTTEN AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE RECOGNIZE AND DEEPLY APPRECIATE THEIR SACRIFICE FOR OUR FREEDOM.
If you have any questions or want to become a volunteer please don`t hesitate to contact us.
